Center Source was established to provide its expertise to help solve some of the government’s contracting challenges. We also look for opportunities to team with other small businesses or or utilize their capabilities as subcontractors. Together with our partner network of talented and experienced professionals, we are in a unique position to provide the right people with the right skills and processes to help agencies achieve or exceed their mission requirements.
Marvin grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, and attended the University of South Carolina where he majored in Economics. He was nominated as a distinguished military graduate and commissioned as an Army Officer. Marvin held several leadership positions during his military career, notably, a Company Commander, Division Material Officer, and a War-Time Operations Officer.
Marvin has served in senior Government, military, and industry positions where he had proven experience in delivering impactful results to the Federal Government. As Center Source’s CEO & President, his goal is to help others benefit from his knowledge and experience.
Tammie has spent the last 25+ years mastering government contracts and teaching others how to do so. She garnered valuable experience by forging relationships with federal government procurement personnel who were responsible for awarding contracts to small and minority-owned businesses. Being able to help these businesses navigate through the procurement process and successfully perform the contract requirements, impressed upon Tammie the importance of the work that she was performing.
She realized the best way to utilize her extensive knowledge and experience was to launch her own business. In 2001, Tammie founded and developed a successful SBA 8(a) certified construction and environmental remediation firm. She was able to apply the knowledge that her hard work and determination rewarded her by continuing to provide oversight of business operations, ensure quality performance and perform business development.
